Archaeological evidence shows there has been an Inuit culture on the Labrador coast for at least 800 years. Archaeologists believe Thule migrated across the Canadian Arctic and eventual settled in Labrador. Over time, Thule known as Labrador Inuit. Inuit lived in harsh environments but were able to adapt and developed technologies to live successfully.
